Private events can be booked through our Online booking system 6 months in advance or you can also call or email us and we can do the reservation for you. We are more than willing to show you around and discuss how we can make your event even better!

Guide for drivers
General instructions and rules.
(The instructions are based on TUKES and KIC instructions.)
- The presence of the public in the track and pit area is strictly prohibited.
- Entrance to the track and pit area is allowed only with the permission of the staff.
- Always follow the given driving instructions.
- Driving under the influence is strictly prohibited.
- If it is your first time driving make sure you get sufficient instructions about the kart, driving and signaling systems. If you have any questions or need advice, please ask our staff, they're there for you!
- Always use a right sized helmet. Before entering the track, check that the helmet strap is secured.
- If you have any questions or concerns during driving, you can drive back to the pit and we'll help you out. On the pitlane please drive with a walking pace.
- Don't start driving at top speed. First, familiarize yourself with the track and how the car behaves.
- If you notice there is something wrong with your kart, immediately drive back to the pitlane. A malfunctioning kart is a safety hazard to you and everyone else on the track.
- Do not disturb other people's driving. It is forbidden to crash into other karts and track barriers.
- If you spin on the track, primarily use reverse to correct the direction. If you can't continue by yourself, raise your hand to signal to the staff that you need help.
- It is strictly forbidden to get out of the kart while on the track without the permission of the staff.
- Keep your feet and hands inside the kart while on the track.
- If you want to drive slower or stop, drive to the side of the lane so others can pass you. Even in normal driving, if you notice a significantly faster driver behind you, make room. This way driving is more meaningful for everyone.
- The end of session is always signalled with a chequered flag. After you've seen the flag, finish the lap and return to the pitlane.
- When you have returned to the pitlane, keep seated as long as the staff gives you permission to get out of the kart.
More tips for drivers
We have gathered things that you can use to improve your performance and lap times on the track. The whole driving performance consists of small things, so here are a few of them:
- Driving position is one of the most important factors for successful driving. Our karts have versatile adjustments for drivers (seat, pedals), so use them to your advantage. Ask the staff for tips on a good driving position if necessary!
- Electric karts are usually running while in the pit. However they are stopped and won't move when pressing gas. The karts can be started when staff allows.
- When you enter the track, don't drift, slide or make unnecessary turns. This kind of action will decrease the grip of your kart and makes driving difficult. The fastest laps and best performances occur when the kart's tires don't leave the track surface once.
- The fastest lap times are achieved when you have no one in front of you. So take your own space while driving.
- When braking you might want to focus on the tires not getting off the track. So focus more on how fast you come out of the turn rather than how fast you enter the turn.
- It's not recommended to press both pedals at the same time, as you'll most likely spin.
While you are on the track, you are responsible of your own and other's safety. So do not drive over your own capabilities!
Here are important notes and answers to frequently asked questions regarding private events, so that the arrival and event itself goes smoothly!
- You have received a booking confirmation with a time of arrival. Please respect the arrival time and let us know as soon as possible if your arrival is delayed. This is set so you have enough time to prepare for the event and no unnecessary hassle occurs.
- You can create driver profiles in advance, you'll find the link in the same email with the booking confirmation. All drivers have to have the profile done before the event can start.
- Please confirm the booking within three days of receiving the booking confirmation. In this way, your reservation remains valid until the time of the event.
- All changes or cancellations must be done at least 14 days before the event, this includes:
- Number of drivers
- Cancellation of the event
- Changing the previously chosen program
- If the customer does not inform Kart in Club of any changes to the reservation before the agreed date, the customer is obliged to pay Kart in Club the entire price of the order according to the offer or if the number of participants increases, according to the new number of participants.
Arrival to Kart in Club
Kart in Club Espoo is located at Ruukintie 6. You can easily get here by bike, bus, metro or car!
For customers arriving by cars, we have plenty of free parking spaces near the entrance.
Equipment
Drivers get all the necessary driving equipment from us.
- Helmets and balaclavas (mandatory)
- Karting suits (optional)
It is highly recommended to wear comfortable flat-sole shoes, i.g. sneakers. If you're planning to drive without the karting suit, wear something comfortable like t-shirt and sweatpants.
Requirements
All events will be driven with so called adult karts, so drivers should be at least 140cm tall or have previous experience driving at our track. Shorter drivers might not be able to reach the steering wheel or pedals.
There have been drivers over 2m tall, so tall drivers are also welcome!

What is the minimum group size for a private event?
-Minimum payment for all private events is 8 drivers.
Do I need any equipment when I come and drive?
-We recommend wearing comfortable flat-sole shoes, i.g. sneakers. If you have your own helmet or other equipment, feel free to use those! It is recommended to wear at least a T-shirt under the karting suits.
Where can I leave my personal stuff?
-Dressing rooms all have lockers, you can bring your own lock or lend one from the reseption.
Can I cancel my private event free of charge?
-All cancellations must be done at least 14 days in advance. If the cancellation is made less than 14 days in advance, varying on the time will be charged either 50% or 100% of the total price.
What is the age limit for kids?
-There is no set age limit for driving. The recommended age is 10 but all comes down to height, our height limit is minimum of 140 cm.
I want to book a private event, what do I do?

How many drivers can be on the track at the same time?
-The maximum number of drivers for the arrive and drive sessions is 12 drivers, the number can vary a little if there are plenty of drivers with different skillset. For private events the maximum is 14 at the same time.
Can I drive even if I have no previous experience? Do I need a driver's licence?
– Well of course you can! We will go through all the safety and driving instructions before the driving starts and if you have any questions, please ask us! And no, you don’t have to have a driver’s license for go-karting.
Can I just come and watch the driving?
– Sure, we have a small seating area where you can hang out and watch the driving!

Meille ajamaan tuleminen on äärimmäisen helppoa. Seuraamalla alla olevia askeleita onnistut.

AJONVARAUS
Voit varata suoraan netistä meille yksittäisajoja ja enimmillään 12 kuskin ajotilaisuuksia kuten karting kilpailuita. Alta löydät linkit hinnastoomme ja ajonvaraukseen.
Ajamaan pääsee monesti myös ilman ajanvarausta, mutta suosittelemme olemaan radalle yhteydessä soittamalla tai laittamalla WhatsApp-viestiä 0447-765 060 ennen saapumista vaikka varauskalenteri näyttäisi radalla olevan tilaa.

SEURAA OHJEITA
Kun olet tehnyt ajonvarauksen radalle saat siitä sähköpostin, jossa ohjeet miten toimia ennen ajamaan tulemista.
Mikäli tulet ajamaan ilman ajonvarausta tee itsellesi kuljettajaprofiili painamalla alla olevaa kuvaa. Tämä tehdään vain kerran, kaikki tulevat ajosi tallentuvat tähän profiiliin ja pääset halutessasi itse seuraamaan kehittymistäsi kuskina Racefacer- sovelluksesta.

SAAVU RADALLE
Ajonvarauksen tehneenä ilmoittaudu vain radan vastaanottotiskillä ja pääset radalle!
Mikäli tulet yksittäisajoihin ilman ajanvarausta, tule vastaanottotiskille, osta haluamasi ajo, ja pääset radalle! Laitamme kuskit seuraaviin yksittäisajolähtöihin saapumisjärjestyksessä.

Kart in Club Espoon nuorten kartingkoulu järjestetään kaksi kertaa vuodessa.
Kartingkoulu päivät ovat aina tiistaisin kello 18:00-20:00, yhteensä 6 tiistaita.Ainoa vaatimus kartingkouluun osallistumiselle on riittävä pituus, eli 140cm tai tätä lyhyemmillä aiempi kokemus Espoon radalla ajamisesta.Koulu pitää sisällään teoriaopetusta ja paljon ajoharjoittelua, harjoituskilpailuja sekä loppufinaalin.
Kouluttajina meillä toimii kokenut ja ammattitaitoinen henkilökuntamme, joilla on pitkä kokemus kartingista.

Kart in Club Espoon nuorten kartingleirit järjestetään aina koulujen väli- ja lomaviikoilla, sekä kesälomalla.
Leiri kestää kolme päivää (maanantai, tiistai ja kesiviikko), ja se alkaa aina maanantaina kello 09.00. Kartingleirin kesto on päivittäin kello 09.00-14.00.
Mukaan otetaan aikuisten autoilla ajavia kuljettajia, eli pituutta tulisi olla +135cm.
Leiri pitää sisällään paljon ajoharjoittelua, harjoituskilpailuja, joukkuekilpailuja ja hieman teoriaa.
Leirin vetäjinä meillä toimii kokenut ja ammattitaitoinen henkilökuntamme.

Espoon rata on auki koko pääsiäisen ja ajamaan pääsee joka päivä!
Pääsiäisen kunniaksi tuplataan Boostin määrä: tarjolla on nyt 60 sekuntia lisätehoa jokaiseen ajoon. Se on kaksi kertaa enemmän kuin normaalisti, joten nyt on hyvä sauma kokeilla, mihin ne kierrosajat asettuvat, kun boostia ei tarvitse säästellä ihan niin tarkasti.

Unohtakaa ne 10 minuutin pyrähdykset; Nyt katsotaan, kuka jaksaa oikeasti ajaa!
Tule kokeilemaan 30 ja 60 min putkeen ajoja, joissa renkaat ehtivät kerrankin lämmetä kunnolla. Ajot ajetaan Pro ja Powerkart tehoilla.
Eikä tarvitse pelätä boostin loppumista , sillä sitä saa lisää 10 minuutin välein. Jos vauhti hiipuu, syy löytyy siis tällä kertaa peilistä eikä konehuoneesta. Tule testaamaan, oletko kestävyysurheilija vai onko takki tyhjä jo vartin kohdalla.
